Your Kitchen needs this: Cool DIY Grocery List
The most transformational organizing principle that I’ve implemented into my routine is writing down everything that pops into my head that requires action. When I say everything, I mean anything that takes more than 2 minutes to accomplish.
I adopted this principle after reading David Allen’s widely celebrated book, Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity, and it’s single-handedly improved my clarity of mind and overall productivity. Thanks David!!
When I committed to this new productivity practice, I realized that not every item was appropriate for my digital to do list, ToDoist. Some things, like house chores or grocery lists, felt more intuitive to put on paper.
Call me old-fashioned, but “unplugging at home” is really important to me. I personally don’t want to be staring at a screen all day, so when I’m tidying the house or cooking dinner, I am more inclined to grab a pad of paper.
That’s why I love this kitchen DIY To Do List idea by Aileen of At Home in Love. By hanging a roll of craft paper in the kitchen, I can write down any grocery items I’m in need of, the moment they come up. There’s no more fumbling for a loose piece of paper or going for my cell phone!
Also, I love any craft that’s this simple to make and SO functional!!
- Roll of craft paper
- 2 Eyelet hooks
